An opportunity to read a book that will change you, change the church and change the world.

We are really excited about using the Reading the Bible together scheme. RBT is a simple way of reading through the whole Bible in three years - reading it with everyone in the church. It is for anyone who wants to read the Bible. The scheme is intended to be accessible for all from those in Sunday School to the oldest in the congregation.

Each month we will read a book (or books) of the Bible. A brief introduction to the book will be given out to get you started. At the end of the month we will have RBT groups where we can share together what we have learnt. Groups will normally meet during the last full week of the month. Some will meet during the day and others will meet in the evening. Some will meet in homes and others will meet in the Mission building.

We would encourage people to stick to one group and get to know the people in it over the three years. However, this might not always be possible so there may be occasions where you might need to attend a different group.

Every group will open with tea & coffee. The leader will open in prayer, read the introduction sheet and then the group will work through 7 solid biblical questions. The idea is that everyone shares and we learn from each other.  At the end there will be time for a few people to pray. The group time should be no longer than 1 hr - 1 ½ hrs.
